In general, the unit is counted per item, smaller pieces that still fit in the 10 x 10 x 10 cm perimeter when stacked may be counted as one unit. Forms that are more ambiguous may be appraised by Nareswari before the firing.

You can also rent the whole kiln, and you would have the freedom to do so anytime without needing to wait for Nareswari's own firing schedule. Contact us further for more information and scheduling.

Terms and Conditions
1. Our firing process takes 4 days in total, with the first day to load, second spent to fire, third for the kiln cool down, and fourth for the kiln opening.
2. Firing schedules aren’t always on a fixed date every month and they depend on Nareswari’s own activities at that time, you can always check to our contact number for firing plans in the near future!
3. Drop off everything you’d like to fire minimum one working day before the firing schedule.
4. All pieces need to be completely bone dry in order to be fired.
5. As a kind disclaimer, we cannot guarantee the pieces will survive the firing. The firing process may produce unexpected results where pieces may crack or explode in the kiln.
6. With the point above in mind, the firing fee still needs to be paid no matter the outcome of the firing. Moreover, the payment needs to be settled before the firing commences.
7. Please note that we use Ceramica Kinara’s CL46 Natural Clay and CL43R White Stoneware that fires to 850 for bisque, and 1230 (+hold 20 minutes) for glazeware.

Make sure that the clay you are using are also fired in the same range, as some clay like low fired earthenware may melt in the kiln and damage kiln shelves (in which events, the shelves would need to be replaced/compensated by the tenant).
